It appears my last blog post was in September last year, so I thought I would post a selection of photos I have taken over the last few months, to get me back up to date.
My dog walking lot all had great fun in the week of snow. I love this photo, as I was actually taking a photo of the springer in the background, and up popped the mad boy in the front. I love his expression 'please take my photo again'.
I had a bit of practice in the snow with a group shot. Not the best of photos, but I know how to improve in the future. Just impressed they all stayed still long enough to get this shot.
I took advantage of the snow to get a clean background for an up-to-date shot of one of my collie boys.
I have had the pleasure of looking after this little kitty over a couple of weekends lately. I was practising taking kitten photos, which were a first for me, when she became very interested in the dog water dish. This photo was mainly good timing and I was thrilled to capture her playing with the water.
An indoor photo of my cocker boy. Pity the carpet is covered in dog hair, but this was more for practice than getting a perfect photo.
Another group shot. Taken with my bridge camera, but it came out OK.
I had the absolute pleasure of these Basset sisters staying with me for a couple of nights. I have walked them since and am looking forward to having them for their Easter holidays.
Well, that is me kind of up to date again. Really must try to take more photos and do a bit more practice, now that Christmas is out of the way. I also have Lightroom 4 and Photoshop Elements 11 sitting in their boxes, waiting for me to have a few spare hours to get them on my computer and start to learn how to use them both. Hopefully I can find the time in the next few weeks and get some even better photo edits.
